Today, for me, marked the end of a wonderful semester and school year. Poker is fun, especially when we look nice.

My favorite TV shows growing up were ones that involved a group or team of people that had members of varying backgrounds, personalities, and talents and despite these differences, was a close-knit unit. Each person brought something different to the table. That’s how I feel about our UTD group. However great or small, each one of you guys has made my first year of college amazing, more than you can ever realize (I refrain from saying names in fear of leaving someone out, but you know who you are). 

One of the most elusive and sought-after feelings for me is the feeling that I belong. That I can be accepted for who I am, nothing more or less. And God willing, I’ve felt that this year. For those who are going to other colleges (Jeanie, potentially Becky and Joan), I do hope that you guys also have such a feeling next year. 

But yeah, it’s SUMMER! I’m excited about going to India in a few weeks. I hope to see you guys soon!
